Aw, delicious, fresh, homemade granola. What can beat that? It’s so versatile from simple granola cereal, to parfaits, and granola bars. I’ve tried many granola recipes, but this one is my favorite so far. I received it from my mother. The amazing woman who taught me to cook when I was young and told me it was okay every time I made a cake or cookies and forgot to add the baking soda. Thanks for never giving up on me Mom. 🙂
Maple Cinnamon Granola Recipe

Ingredients
- 3 cups old fashioned oats
- 1/4 cup ground flax seed
- 3/4 cup maple sugar (or honey)
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 3/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ginger
- 3/4 cup dried cranberries (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees
- Prepare a greased cookie sheet
- Mix all ingredients together and spread evenly over the greased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
Notes
- Once you pull it out of the oven, scrape the granola on the pan to mix it up or else it will cool and be stuck together and be very hard.
